Açık Erişim Nedir?
Açık Erişim araştırma literatürü teknik raporlar, tezler ve
çalışma raporları yanında hakemli dergi makalelerinin, konferans
bildirilerinin ücretsiz, çevrimiçi kopyalarından meydana gelir.
Çoğu durumda bunların kullanımında okuyucular için lisans
sınırlaması yoktur. Bu nedenle araştırma, öğretim ve diğer
amaçlar için ücretsiz kullanılabilirler.
Açık Erişim Ne Değildir?
Açık Erişim konusunda pek çok yanlış anlayış mevcuttur. Açık
Erişim kendi kendine yayın yapma değildir, ne hakemli
yayıncılığı ve yayını ortadan kaldıran bir yol ne de ikinci
sınıf, maliyeti düşürülmüş yayın yapma biçimidir. Basit bir
deyişle araştırma sonuçlarının tüm araştırmacı kitlesine
çevrimiçi olarak ücretsiz sağlanmasıdır.
Yazarlar Neden
Çalışmalarını Açık Erişim Sağlasınlar?
Kişisel arşivleme yapılan araştırma makalelerinin,
arşivlenmeyenlere oranla daha çok atıf aldığı konusunda kanıtlar
gittikçe çoğalmaktadır. Çoğu konu alanında atıf oranlarında en
az iki kat artış var. Kimilerinde bu oran hatta daha da yüksek.
Açık Erişim bu yanı ile araştırmaların öncekine göre daha çok
etkisi olduğu anlamına geliyor. Üstelik çalışmanın yayınlandığı,
okunduğu, atıf aldığı ve böylelikle diğer araştırmacıların
çalışmalarını yönlendirdiği araştırma döngüsü genişliyor ve
hızlanıyor. Araştırmanız için okumak ve kullanmak istediğiniz
makalelere kolayca ve sınırlama olmadan erişebilmeyi istemez
misiniz? |

and Open Access Journals provides an overview of open access
concepts, and it presents over 1,300 selected English-language
books, conference papers (including some digital video
presentations), debates, editorials, e-prints, journal and
magazine articles, news articles, technical reports, and other
printed and electronic sources that are useful in understanding
the open access movement's efforts to provide free access to and
unfettered use of scholarly literature. |
